The Globe Glossop is situated on the very edge of the beautiful Peak District of Derbyshire, approx 13 miles east of Manchester, 20 miles west of Sheffield. By Road: We are situated on the A57 (High St West), main approach road on your left, just after Tesco, as you approach Glossop town centre from Manchester. From Buxton direction you would turn left at the town centre traffic lights, and along with traffic from Snake Pass / Sheffield, find us on your right, about 1/4 mile from town centre. By Train: All trains come from Manchester Piccadilly to Glossop direct, we are some 7 or 8 minutes walk from the Train Station, turn right out of station and right at the lights. By Bus: Manchester buses to Glossop run fairly regularly, and there are occasional routes from Derbyshire subject to change. Stops are situated close to The Globe, and we are in close proximitiy to Tesco. |
